Basic Camera Controls: Aperture, Shutter Speed, Depth of Field, ISO, White Balance
* Read Chapter 1 in your textbook.

Applying camera controls, Shooting exercise; MUST HAVE CAMERA IN CLASS
* Assignment: Same Subject, Different Ways. Pick a static object (not a person or animal) and photograph it 50 different ways.
* Bring assignment into class next class period to import and begin editing
* Read Chapter 2 in your textbook.

Quiz – Chapters 1-4. 100 Words assignment introduced – will be DUE in week 6. Continue editing from last week.
* Read Handouts in Week 3 section of class website. 
* Make SURE to watch all videos in Week 3 section.

Discuss collections (quick and permanent), exporting/renaming, informally discuss your 100 Words ideas, and we might make an in-class visit to the library.
* Find a library book on a single photographer active since 1960, read the introduction, and prepare an informal presentation summarizing this photographer’s work for next class meeting (~5 minutes) – if your book doesn’t have much information, you will need to supplement it with info gleaned from the web.
